I needed a new truck to do work around the ranch.  I never had great credit, but ranch work was not going to wait.  So I found out about a bad credit car loan and went to see if I would qualify.  It turns out my credit was not quite as bad as I thought but I still did not qualify for a standard loan.  I got approved for enough to buy a new truck and drove it off of the lot this last weekend.  I should not need another truck for at least ten years and by then my credit will be better.
