A good choice for most Americans is to figure out a way in which they can get out of credit card debt fast.  With the way the economy is going people truly cannot afford to be stuck dealing with a crappy debt situation.  There are some forms of debt relief that have proven to be very helpful to get people saving money and even better time on what they owe their creditors. It is not right how these credit card companies treat people that are stuck in debt, they raise the interest rate and make it pretty close to impossible for these folks to get themselves out of debt.
