Though our firm is not that big, we take our corporate social responsibility seriously.  All the employees are oriented with this principle and we hold activities from time to time in line with how we live and practice our corporate social responsibility.

The company has registered a big income last quarter.  This coming Christmas season, we plan to hold some activities to share the blessings that we have received to the needy.  Some employees are even suggesting to do away with the usual fancy Christmas party we have been accustomed to doing in the recent years and, instead, donate the money we will use for the party to some charitable cause.

The management has initially talked about this suggestion and in these dire times, it is better for the Christmas party budget to be channeled to helping others.  Besides, a simple Christmas party would suffice and would be more meaningful.
