Travel guides can only tell you so much and most of the time, they don’t tell you the truly important things.  Now if you’re planning on moving there, usually books can’t really tell you what you need to know.  But if you are seriously thinking about it, I would greatly suggest that you look for some reading material that offers an insider’s point of view on new zealand immigration.  I am speaking of finding another fellow migrant to seek their advice.  My neighbor has helped me tremendously by offering me tips on driving and common courtesy items that I would have never found in a travel book.
