There can’t be much difference in coffee taste from one coffee shop to another, so it must be something else that will attract more customers to a coffee shop business.

Most people like soft and comfy couches to sit on while they enjoy sipping their favorite brew. Others pick the ones with free wifi access. Foodies and java junkies both go for good coffee plus good food. While others can’t stay long in coffee shops with terrible music. Most importantly customer service and a good tasting cup of coffee is necessary.
