In the course of my work as a nurse, I’ve seen grown men brought to tears as a result of lower back pain. The pain is unlike anything you can imagine and they are just so desperate to get rid of the pain that they will do anything. Sometimes what we do works and sometimes it simply doesn’t. I know that one day we will have a fix for this and I just hope that I’m still here to see it. I really hate seeing someone in pain. I think that is the hardest part of my job. I want to make them better.
