Avoid an oily complexion by limiting the use of exfoliant products

Most skin care therapists will tell you that over use of exfoliant products that can make your skin produce oil faster than the Arabs.

So what should you do if you have oily skin, but you don’t want oil production overdrive?

The answer is don’t exfoliate more than three times a week.

For a gentle solution some experts recommend the use of a muslin facecloth, focusing on areas where dead skin cells builds up, such as around the nose and chin cleft.

Using a cloth in this way will help to prevent scratching of the skin. Alternatively, you may want to consider an exfoliant that is gentle enough to be used daily.
