Does soy foods make you fat?

Most people falsely believe that soy based foods like soy milk, soy protein, soy burgers, and tofu are “health foods”.  Billions of dollars of advertising are spent every year trying to convince consumers that soy is a health food.

But did you know that unfermented soy foods such as soymilk and soy protein can actually harm your health?  The fact is that soy contains many anti-nutrients that inhibit mineral absorption in your body, can cause thyroid issues, and can even cause weight gain from the excessive estrogenic compounds in unfermented soy. Make sure to think twice next time you are at the grocery store and you are bombarded by labels claiming that soy foods are healthy. You know the real truth now.
