Don’t try to make your teeth whiter if you are pregnant
While teeth whitening is generally safe, dentists don’t recommend teeth whitening procedures for pregnant women. Most of the whitening treatments use some kind of gel or bleaching agent to bleach teeth. These chemicals are harmful for fetus and consuming even small amounts of bleaching agent can turn out to be the biggest blunder. So, if you are pregnant, don’t try to make your teeth whiter until you deliver your baby. Lactating mothers should also avoid teeth whitening to prevent any harmful chemical to be passed on to the baby. Remember that more than whiter teeth, the health of your baby is important.
