French Bulldog Care in Hot Weather

Many animals have concerns when considering their care. The French Bulldog has a few that are not common to other breeds. One is there inability to tolerate extreme temperatures. Because of the construction of their air way, French Bulldog care becomes important. These animals are unable to effectively regulate their temperature. Other dogs may have issues with heat exhaustion, but for a French Bulldog it can be lethal. Because of this, these dogs must be protected from the heat. They have to be kept inside in air conditioning to tolerate the extremely hot days of summer. In this sense, a French Bulldog must be an indoor pet.
