The last time that my children and I went on a trip, my daughter was excited to take her little DVD player with her. I got it for cheap at a yard sale, and the owner promised me that it worked. She couldn’t wait to watch her favorite movie on it. We charged the battery overnight, and as soon as we got into the car she turned it on. However, after about a half an hour the battery died and the entire thing turned off. It was right at her favorite part, and she was so disappointed that she started crying. Next time, I am going to get a new phillips portable dvd player. They have four to six hours worth of battery life, so that will never happen with them.
