When my work told me that I needed to find  sharepoint training courses for myself and a few other colleagues, I was pretty pumped about the idea. I found one course that was offered in San Francisco and was super pumped because I thought it might be a great idea to get a little business trip in. The bosses almost went for it until they read on the website that the class can be taken via a remote training solution. As it turned out, I did not get a business trip out of the class but I did get the day off.
