My mom is very active in the mormon church and my dad stopped going. My mom converted to the mormon church when she was in foster care and my dad grew up in a large family that went his whole life. He served a mission, married my mom in the temple, and for whatever reason, he stopped believing in God. This left my mom raising us three kids in the church by herself, but at least my dad didn’t try to interfere with that. He recognized that it instills good values and saw no harm in us believing in something he thought had no proof.
