I haven’t got much spare cash for a holiday this year, but I have still been keeping an eye on prices online just in case a real bargain comes along. I have to say I’ve been astonished by some of the room rates that hotels in Turkey are offering right now. At first I thought it must be a one off, but if you have a look at hotels in many of the most popular destinations they are lots of really low rates, averaging probably around £5 per person per night and some as low as £1.50. It does seem almost too good to be true, but I’ve been checking out the offers and they do appear to be genuine.
